Location of your house is important especially when you want to get home as fast as possible to watch your favorite movie. In other cases, you may want to know a shorter route to your house from office to minimize your fuel consumption. In this tutorial, I will show you on how to set your house location using Garmin Mobile.
Set Home location
- Before you set your home location, make sure you are located near to your house (Duh!)
- You can set your home location by simply going to main page.
- Select Where To? > Home
- Select an option to select your home location (Make sure your device has detected GPRS satellite beforehand.)
Now you have set the location of your house. You can create a route to it by selecting Where To? > Home.
Changing Your Home location
Change your address? Or accidentally selected wrong location for your home? OMG! Big trouble! But don’t worry, you can change it.
- From main page select Tools > Manage My Data > My Location
- Select Home > Delete > Yes
- Set your home as above.
